What is full mouth restoration?
Full mouth restoration (also called full mouth reconstruction or full mouth rehabilitation) is a personalised treatment plan that rebuilds or replaces most or all of the teeth in both the upper and lower jaws. Instead of treating one tooth at a time, the dentist looks at your whole mouth, including your teeth, gums, bite and jaw joints, and combines several treatments to bring back function, comfort and a natural-looking smile.

Who needs full mouth restoration?
Full mouth treatment may be recommended if you have one or more of the following:
- Several missing teeth, or teeth that cannot be saved
- Many worn, broken or heavily filled teeth
- Old crowns, bridges or dentures that no longer fit or look natural
- Bite problems, jaw pain or teeth worn down by grinding (bruxism)
- Advanced gum disease that has affected the support of the teeth
- A wish to change the colour, shape and alignment of the whole smile at once
Treatments used in a full mouth restoration
Each plan is different, but most full mouth restorations use a combination of the treatments below:
- Dental implants replace missing teeth from the root and give a fixed, stable base for new teeth.
- All on 4 and All on 6 implants fix a full arch of teeth on four or six implants, often without the need for bone grafting.
- Zirconium crowns cover and protect damaged teeth with a strong, natural-looking material.
- E-max crowns, laminate veneers and porcelain veneers improve the colour and shape of front teeth.
- Root canal treatment saves infected teeth that can be kept.
- Composite bonding and teeth whitening for smaller cosmetic changes.
When the goal is mainly cosmetic, the plan is usually built around digital smile design (Hollywood smile), so you can see a preview of your new smile before treatment begins.
How does the treatment process work?
- Online consultation: You send photos or a recent X-ray, and our dentists prepare a first treatment plan.
- Examination in Antalya: A clinical exam, panoramic X-ray and, where needed, 3D imaging confirm the final plan.
- Preparation: Extractions, gum treatment, root canal treatment or implant placement are done first.
- Temporary teeth: You wear temporary teeth while the gums and implants heal.
- Final restorations: Permanent crowns, bridges or veneers are made in the dental lab, fitted and adjusted to your bite.
Cosmetic plans that use only crowns and veneers can often be finished in a single stay. Plans with dental implants usually need two visits, because the implants need a few months to fuse with the jawbone before the final teeth are fitted.
Aftercare and how long results last
Full mouth restorations can last for many years with good care. Brush twice a day, clean between your teeth and around implants every day, wear a night guard if you grind your teeth, and have a check-up and professional cleaning at least once a year.
